Our founders, Karrie and Nandy, were raised in southern Louisiana to Honduran parents. Growing up they traveled to Honduras often and saw first hand the poverty stricken communities surrounding their family homes. Since the start of Martin Ave. they have had a vision to grow their company with the motivation of giving back. They have partnered with the incredible organization, Humanity & Hope United Foundation, who work with villages in a number of areas throughout Honduras, to empower the communities through self-directed sustainable change.
With every purchase of a baseball cap, Martin Ave. will donate $2 to the Humanity & Hope United Foundation. Your donation will go towards supporting a full time job for a woman in Honduras, like Emerita (see below). Every job opportunity created helps each woman reach her full potential while allowing her to provide a better future for herself and her family.
